While trading on the go, managing symbols in MT5 by adding your preferred instruments to the Market Watch section in your mobile trading apps makes it easier to trade. In this article, let us look at how to add or remove symbols in MetaTrader 5.
On Windows or Mac:
1. Open MetaTrader 5 on your windows computer.
2. Go to the 'view' menu in the top navigation bar.
3. Select 'market watch' from the dropdown menu.
4. Right-click anywhere within the market watch window.
6. 5. To add symbols, select 'symbols' and then choose the symbols you want to add.
To remove symbols, right-click on a symbol and select 'hide' or 'delete'.
For MT5 iOS or Android
1. To add a symbol to the quotes tab, tap the search bar, select a group of symbols, tap the green + to add instrument(s), and go back when finished.
2. To delete a symbol from the quotes tab, tap the edit (pencil) icon in the top left corner, select the symbol to delete, tap the red basket icon in the top right corner, and tap edit once done.
