What is an Introducing Broker (IB)?

Updated over a month ago

An Introducing Broker (IB) is an individual or entity that partners with FNmarkets to refer clients to our brokerage in exchange for commissions. IBs act as intermediaries by helping traders open accounts, offering guidance, and introducing them to FNmarkets' services.

IBs do not manage client funds or execute trades. Instead, they earn commissions based on the trading activity of the clients they refer. FNmarkets fully supports its IBs through a structured commission plan, advanced tracking tools, and dedicated partner support β€” all designed to help them grow and succeed.
