By default, charts only show the bid price on MT5 for historical data. To view the ask line and include the current spread, follow these steps:
1) Right-click anywhere on the chart.
2) From the menu that appears, choose 'Properties'.
3) In the Properties window, click on the 'Common' tab.
4) Tick the box labeled ‘Show Ask Line’.
This will add the ask line to your MT5 chart, allowing you to view the current spread along with the bid and ask price.
