“Pseudonymous transactions” refer to transactions conducted using a fictitious name or the name of a third party to conceal the customer's identity. In addition, transactions conducted using the name of a third party such as a family member or friend and impersonating the nominee are called “borrowed name transactions,” and borrowed name transactions are also classified as pseudonymous transactions.
At FNmarkets, opening or operating an account using pseudonyms or borrowed names is strictly prohibited. Accounts must always be opened and used in the customer’s own name, with their own funds, and of their own volition. Using false or borrowed identities may lead to serious compliance issues and could expose you to risks of fraud, money laundering, or legal consequences.
